Bellis perennis

The Bellis perennis is a perennial meadows, lawns, roadsides and meadows, high ten to twenty centimeters of the Asteraceae family, whose flowers are borne on inflorescences called heads: those of the periphery , which is believed to be wrong petal, called ray flowers, because they are shaped like a tongue, or half-florets are female flowers, whose color varies from white to pink, more or less pronounced ; those in the center, yellow, called disk flowers, because their corolla tube, or landmarks, are hermaphroditic. Thus, contrary to popular opinion, what is called a "flower" daisy is actually not just one flower but a flower head with flowers very numerous.
